The Life of St. Thomas the Apostle

Thomas was the loyal, honest Apostle who always said what he was thinking. When Jesus decided to return to Judea despite danger, Thomas said, "Let us also go, that we may die with Him." At the Last Supper he asked, "How can we know the way?" and Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

After the Resurrection, Thomas wanted to see for himself, and when Jesus showed him His wounds, Thomas made one of the greatest professions of faith in Scripture: "My Lord and my God!" He carried the Gospel all the way to India, where the St. Thomas Christians still honor him.
